This faerie doll is the second doll kit I assembled. I purchased the kit
from Roberta Hargett. The mold she used was made by Joyce Wolf. (I think!)
I designed the faerie's dress. Her wings are made of silk glued over 'dip
and drape'. I made tiny ribbon roses for her hair. Beth Lane taught me
how to make roses. For the faerie's shoes, I used sparkley lavender nail
enamel.This doll was somewhat challenging. I had finished her and had left her on the kitchen table overnight. One of my cats had found her and had chewed off her hair. She didn't look good with her new bob haircut, so I had to do the wigging again. Her hair came out better the second time, so I guess my cat knew what he was doing.
