21 cats, and one mouse, currently live in this room. Two are permanent
occupants, and the others are strays.
The rocking chair, made from a Chrynsbon kit. I painted
blue pawprints on the back of the chair. Someone was
sitting in this chair, reading "The Cat Who Killed a Cardinal".
Another "Cat Who" book is on the bookcase, along with some
other cat books, such as "Puss in Boots".
Cat tails! Of course! I made the vase and the cattails.
A cat enters the room though a cat flap. Another cat
has opened the cupboard doors. I made the rug by stitching
a gazillion french knots. I made the braided rug under the chair
as well.
One of my favorite accessories. A Felix clock!
"Stalking Feline" print, painted by Barbara Stanton.
"Cats" Broadway poster.
A cat looks out the window. Cat fur-printed pillows are
on the window seat.
I made 4 kinds: Tiger, Leopard, Jaguar, and Cheetah.
The Cheetah pillow has been knocked to the floor.
This is the first cat I bought after I told myself "No more
miniature cats." This cat has whiskers and a butterfly on it's nose.
Cat doll, made by Anita McNary Haynes. The head is made of
porcelain.
Polymer clay Lion toy made by Sammy Smith. I received it in
the Ocelots 2000 convention totebag.
A Very Special Thing. A teapot made by Hermania.
A Siamese cat adorns the lid.
A naughty cat! The fish, bowl, and water will probably land
on the cat on the floor below. That unsuspecting cat is playing with a
mouse. This might be a good opportunity for the mouse to escape.
Cat butt corner. The grey striped cat is playing with a mouse. He
seems unaware of the fishbowl above his head.
One of BJ's Pussywillow kitties.
