Before I made the fireplace, I had to relocate it so that there would be room for a bed along
the back wall. I filled the coner at the foot of the bed with a cabinet.
There will be a wall sconce above the bed, to provide more light.
The crystal ball on the table lights up, but it isn't really visible unless you look down
at it or if there are no ambient lights illuminating the room. The wires to the ball run down
the pedestal that holds the table, and plugs into an outlet that is built into the floor.
Should I ever change my mind about the room, I can cover the outlet with a rug.
The fireplace now has embers in it. (no pictures yet) And I may put in a circuit to make the embers flicker, if I can talk Ed into building the circuit for me.
I still need to come up with a chair for the table, and I need something in the right-hand corner, in front of the stairwell. I am thinking of making a simple table, so it can hold another lamp, but I haven't decided what other accessories I want.
