I placed the secretary from the living room kit in this room. I also decided to decorate the room with odd pieces of furniture that I build years ago.

One piece of furniture is the French chair with velvet cushion. The other piece is a piano and stool. The top of the stool turns and can be raised and lowered. These pieces are made of balsa wood. I don't recommend using balsa wood, because it is so soft that it damages easily.

I made the curtains from lace I found in the bridal section of my local fabric store. The drapes are pleated cotton fabric.

The candlesticks on the piano were made from beads and jewelry findings.

The pictures on the walls are Picasso 'paintings'.

I made the Sansevieria plant by following Bonnie Soucek's instructions in the February 1998 issue of Dollhouse Miniatures magazine.

The dolls are Mini Ed and Mini Alice. They are my 3rd and 4th dolls. Mini Ed is holding a plate of veggies and dip made by Jill Lynne Ness.

Shown in the bottom photo, is my first doll. She was photographed before the drapes were hung and before Mini Ed and Mini Alice moved into their house.
